Pristine Property Maintenance is a mid-size company that has years of experience providing grounds-keeping and landscape maintenance services throughout the Greater Toronto Area (i.e. Metro Toronto, Scarborough, Don Mills, North York, East York, Vaughan, Markham, York Region, Durham Region, Mississauga, Milton, Brampton). Our focus and expertise lies largely in the grounds and snow and ice maintenance for condominium townhomes and municipal properties; however, we also have a wealth of experience in residential, high-rise, and commercial complexes.
We work around the clock to establish a name for ourselves – we believe strongly that this comes only with hard work and loyalty to our customers. In response to our successes thus far, we continue to strive to meet our goal to expand PPM into every facet of the industry.
Our company strives to grow at a pace that is manageable, but we have a strict policy to not over-extend our client base so to ensure that we can always handle the workload and consistently exceed client expectations. In the beginning years of our now extensive operations, we had concentrated primarily on residential clientele which allowed us to build a base for strong customer service and attention to quality. From residential service delivery, we expanded to condominium and then to small- to mid-size commercial. Today we are primarily servicing large condominium and commercial properties. With the addition several years ago of a handful of substantial contracts from a local regional council, we are proud to have added municipal services to our growing list of expertise.
Pristine Property Maintenance Limited employs more than sixty people at any given time of the year. Our employee turnover rate is very low compared to that of the industry, most likely attributed to the fact that we offer a plethora of incentives to recruit and retain the highest caliber of skilled labourers.
Pristine Property Maintenance Limited was founded by Adam Watson and Jonathan Agg in 2005 when we met studying at the University of Toronto. Although a hobby at the time and a job to assist with the payment of university tuition, we both went on to build this company into a growing enterprise – never losing sight of our focus on the best customer service possible coupled with high-attention to detail. Today, both of us remain exceptionally active in quality control, growth, strategy, and personnel management.
Our company has aggressive goals of which we have not only been able to attain but exceed since our inception. We are team driven and therefore strive to promote new Crew Leaders from among our existing qualified pool of talent. As a result, our crews are driven to succeed – but it is not just simply handed to anyone, and it is certainly not an easy run! We have very strict guidelines that each of our employees follow and each of our Crew Leaders enforce. Professionalism is key for our success and as such we allow little room for disappointment or short-comings.
Our Crew Leaders are offered competitive salaries, benefits packages, shared RRSP contribution plans, regular pay increases, across the board incentive options, participation in a pension plan, and use of company vehicles under certain conditions. As a result of the above mentioned incentives, more than half of the Crew Leaders whom we employ today have been with us since the beginning of our operations.
In the spring and summer months, our crews are in service five days a week, however, we do adjust our schedules based on the weather and thus sometimes work additional days and hours, depending of course on client expectations. We follow municipal by-laws with respect to noise and therefore in most municipalities operate machinery only between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.
Our crew personnel are knowledgeable and thoroughly trained in the work they do as well as safety, accident and loss prevention, and first aid. We are fully insured and bonded and in consistently good standing with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). We are more than happy to furnish our WSIB Clearance Certificate and standard Certificate of Insurance upon request.
Our staff regularly attends seminars that will be of a direct benefit to what they bring to their job. Mandatory safety courses offered through St. John’s Ambulance are only the beginning – our staff also consistently attend additional first air courses of which we, as the employer, cover the entire cost.
Many of our staff regularly attend additional courses such as equipment maintenance and those of various product knowledge and customer service.
As a result of our excellent and skilled workforce, we are able to consistently exceed client expectations.
We take great pride in the services that we provide to our customers and make a consistent effort to go above and beyond the level of expectation. As a young and growing company, our reputation is our greatest asset and we strive to maintain that in everything that we do. We assure you that you will not be disappointed with our service and assure you that we are accessible by telephone twenty-four hours per day.
Pristine Property Maintenance prides itself on its quality commitment to its clients. As a result, both of the Partners (Adam Watson and Jonathan Agg) spend more than seventy per cent of their time inspecting workmanship to ensure that it meets our strict expectations. If any client is unsatisfied for any reason, we work to ensure satisfaction by any means necessary.
